〽️ Instagram Creator Collaborations Are Becoming a Bigger Opportunity for Small Businesses

A recent analysis from Emplifi looked at more than 520,000 Instagram posts from nearly 3,800 brand profiles and found that creator published collaboration posts were consistently stronger performers than regular brand posts and brand initiated collaborations. More than 73% of the brands analyzed were already using Instagram's Collab feature. Social Media Today

That is particularly interesting for the welding and trades because industry audiences tend to follow people for their knowledge, experience, personality, and credibility. A welding supply company could work with a welder who actually uses its products. A fabrication shop could collaborate with a metal artist. A tool company could work with a creator who demonstrates tools in real shop conditions. The important part is the relationship and audience fit, not simply the number of followers. Meta has also expanded its Creator Marketing Hub with better creator discovery, search filters, partnership messaging, and tools for finding relevant creator content. Social Media Today

What this means for your business

Find one person in your industry whose audience overlaps with the customers you want to reach. Instead of immediately asking them to promote your business, look for something you can genuinely create together... a project, demonstration, shop visit, product test, educational video, or behind the scenes collaboration. The goal is to borrow credibility through a useful piece of content, not simply put your logo in front of another audience. And remember, thats a two way street.
